About the Speakers

AHMED MOHAMED

Automation Engineer | INDEFF

Ahmed is an experienced Automation Engineer with considerable strengths in Process Automation, Process Improvement, Operations and Project Management.

Ahmed has been involved in designing, scheduling and implementing Automation projects in the Food and Beverage, Speciality Chemicals and Life science sectors. He has comprehensive knowledge of Aveva MES, PLC, SCADA, HMI, Field instrumentation, Robotics and Industrial Network Protocols.

He also has significant experience of assisting customers to overcome operational bottlenecks through in-depth fault diagnosis and failure analysis.

Ahmed has been instrumental in managing the complete life cycle of development and support for INDEFF projects. He has been involved in analysis of customer requirements and the translation of these requirements into client solutions from analysis and requirements development through to project delivery, support and documentation.

Diarmuid Good

Automation Engineer | INDEFF

Diarmuid has experience of troubleshooting and problem-solving existing manufacturing operations control systems/automation/instrumentation issues. He can diagnose technical issues and has provided customers with recommendations for process improvements whilst adhering to established Quality Control Systems.

In his 10 years at INDEFF, Diarmuid has consistently executed control systems projects in the support of customer operations through investigations, control system assessments and design support all with a view to proactively looking for and recommending improvements to customer processes and procedures.
